

5 Braise Chinese yam with mushroom and hot pot beef in Okinawa black sugar sauce
Use Taikoo Okinawa Black Sugar to flavor all sorts of braised dishes.
Ingredients:
Water (500ml)
Teriyaki sauce (70ml)
Ginger (6pcs)
Garlic (10pcs)
Carrot (1/2 pc)
Fresh mushrooms (10 pcs)
Fresh Chinese yam (1/2 pc)
Hot pot beef (1 pack)
A few pieces of spring onion
A pinch of cornstarch
Taikoo Okinawa Black Sugar (2 big pieces)
Directions:
- Fry garlic in a small pan over medium heat until it turns golden brown. Add in water, Taikoo Okinawa Black Sugar, teriyaki sauce, ginger slices, carrot, and Chinese yam into the pan.
- Switch to low heat and let it cook until ingredients soften up. Then add in fresh mushroom.
- Turn up the heat and then add in hot pot beef. Cook beef for another minute and then add in starchy mixture to thicken the sauce. Garnish with spring onion.
