Taikoo Sugar was established by Swire in 1881 and refined sugar in Hong Kong for almost more than 90 years. Today, Taikoo Sugar markets premium sugar products, private label single-service sachets of sugar, to the retail and catering trades in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland where it operates three packaging plants. Taikoo Sugar also has a well-established export business, and currently markets branded sugar products in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North America.
